early brithday + genting trip with uni buddies

hi everyone, its really been awhile since my last post. exams finally over and my three month holiday starts now. GUA SUNGGUH HAPPY! HAHAHHA!! To kick start my (hopefully) productive, fun-filled and meaningful holiday, i went to genting with my uni friends and they helped me and Elaine, who is having her 22nd bday on the 16th of Nov, celebrate our bday. Thank you guys... :D

oh.. ya, and i also successfully entered the casino and genting successfully sucked my 15 bucks. 10 bucks to the "wheel of money" and 5 to the jackpot machines. there was this uncle who keep insisting me and kaexin (who was also quite sien after loosing 10 bucks) try out the machine. he gave us a tutorial. stood beside us and explaining every hit we get. "nahh... ni kan, ni zhong liao 16 fen.. yin wei na ge xian (line) shi jiang pao de" or "aiyahhh.. sayang.. ru guo zhe li you duo yi ge ni jiu ying". we were very keen at first, but he seemed a bit too eager and after one game (which lasted for 10 minutes i think), we said bye bye to uncle. and he said "hao wan ah.. qu shi shi qi ta de ji la.." ("nice to play ah.. go try other machines la..") this uncle.. quite hard-core fan of genting i think.

when i was little, like.. primary three or four, i LOVED extreme rides. I enjoyed the breeze on my face, the feel of flying in the air. but after my last last visit to genting, which was with wansim, bona, swee ling and shin ying. I found out that the only part I enjoyed during these rides was the moment i get off. except for the one in the pic below, that one not that extreme la. then i saw those children on the mini "tiao lou ji", they smiled and waved to their moms and dads.. no one shouted. the older people get, the more they think.. "what if what if..." it was raining on and off.. so.. this time I went on three not so extreme rides only. the pirate ship was the scariest.
