now i can 100% confirm that without an external flash, indoor events are not fun to shoot AT ALL. but at least i brought the tripod along. With no experience before, I used the built-in flash on aperture priority mode, resulting people with big movements becoming transparent..... after asking one of the pros there whether this was normal or not, i got a little bit more understanding and i think, when you wanna shoot moving objects during very low light situations, you should use the flash, and put on the manual mode and set the shutter speed to at least 1/60 or faster. (unless you want to be artistic lah)... still have soooo much to learn!!!!!!
